About the event
The contactfestival freiburg is a living collaborative platform which is reinvented every year. It’s an inspiring container for learning, where participation, cooperation, support and growth among and with each other takes place.
The Festival unfolds a playful and diverse space for creative experimentation that showcases cultural and individual differences, serving an important research area for the discovery and development of new expressive styles. Fostering inclusivity and innovation it creates an international network of knowledge.
This annual event supports and facilitates an exchange of the dance form Contact Improvisation. It offers the opportunity to dive into an intensive weeklong process for about 250 participants.
The program includesworkshops, classes, labs and jams. Through all this you'll be able to make new discoveries as well as have time to digest the experience.
With around15 international teachers, and supported by manyformer teachers, you will find a lively exchange among all participants.
